HGH showcases the new SPYNEL-U for the 1st time in EUROPE at Milipol Paris

At Milipol Paris, HGH introduce their New Dual Channel Panoramic sensor, for a better Security by Design

November 19th 2019, Paris Nord-Villepinte – This week, HGH’s third generation of SPYNEL-U is introduced at Milipol Paris. The experts in electro-optics reinvented a brand new 360° thermal & visible camera from design to performance, through improved image quality, data collection and threat analysis. This uncooled thermal imaging camera requires no maintenance.

The SPYNEL range is well known worldwide in the defence and security sectors. The new Dual Channel SPYNEL-U is the only sensor in the world to provide with two High Resolution panoramic videos: a thermal and a visible one. While the thermal panoramic video is ideal for real-time long-distance detection and tracking, thanks to its high contrast, the High-Resolution visible panorama helps identifying quickly the detected threats.

Another worth-mentioning innovation is that the new SPYNEL-U was designed with the same base as SPYNEL-X and SPYNEL-S, making all three sensors easily interchangeable. They can be installed on the same platforms or tripods for instance. SPYNEL-U is used for the protection of several critical infrastructures such as ports, airports, SEVESO sites, nuclear plants and prisons; it is also ideal for the protection of public events and demonstration.

Edouard Campana, Sales Director at HGH said: ‘’At Milipol 2019, attendees and delegations will discover the newest and most performant uncooled sensor of the SPYNEL range. SPYNEL-U is a reliable uncooled technology requiring no maintenance; we are very excited about the evolution of its performance, and the improved visible and thermal image quality provided, which has never been so high.’

In 2017, HGH’s successful SPYNEL V-LRF launched at Milipol Paris had received the Innovation Award.

HGH invites interested parties to visit them at booth # 5M122 for more information. Details can also be found at: www.hgh-infrared.com
