The
DCN 1000N blackbody is an infrared reference source whose emitting area temperature
is defined with a high level of accuracy. It can be used as a stand alone device
(absolute mode) or associated to a target placed in front of the emitting area
(differential mode whereby a temperature difference is set between the emitting
area and the target). The absolute temperature ranges from -20°C to +200°C
and the emitting area dimensions from 50 mm x 50 mm to 300 mm x 300 mm.
This
type of differential blackbody is used for characterization of infrared systems
and can be provided with NETD, FTM and MRTD targets, target wheel or infrared
collimator.
