Hervé Morin, French Minister of Defense, visits HGH
HGH was recently honored by the visit of the French Ministry of Defense, Mr. Hervé Morin, and the Ambassador of France in Malaysia, Mr. Marc Baréty, to their booth at the LIMA 2009 exhibition in Langkawi, Malaysia. Mr. Morin showed a great interest in the HGH new Infrared Panoramic Surveillance System, VIGISCAN.
The LIMA show was a success for HGH. Among other visitors, HGH had the pleasure to welcome the Malaysian Ministry of Defense, Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi, together with several high rank military officials. This show is a first step to introduce the HGH products into the Malaysian and South-East Asian Surveillance/Security market.
HGH receive the CGPME International trophy
In December 2009, HGH Infrared Systems have received the CGPME International trophy. This prize is awarded by the Essonne’s Chamber of Industry to companies with a successful international growing.
According to the Essonne’s Chamber of Industry, this award is given to "dynamic, innovative and audacious companies or organizations which symbolise the leaders of the future". HGH have been selected among a multitude of potential candidates and are very proud of this prize awarding the best international cooperation.
Anne-Marie IDRAC, French Minister of Commerce, visits HGH
Accompanied by Michel Aubouin, General Secretary of Essonne's Prefecture, and by Gérad Huot, President of Essonne's Chamber of Commerce, Ms IDRAC visited the company facilities and overviewed the innovative systems developed by HGH. According to her,"HGH is a real technology champion, innovative, and with a huge potential".
The Minister offered HGH the possibility to join her and her staff on their next visit to Latin America in order to enhance export sales which, for HGH, represent already some 80% of annual turn-over.
HGH awarded: Product of The YEAR 2008
HGH, expert in infrared optronics for over 25 years, received the "Product of The Year 2008" award from the prestigious US magazine "NASA Tech Briefs".
This prize was awarded to HGH for their innovative VIGISCAN (IR Revolution 360) panoramic infrared camera, which enables surveillance of large areas. Indeed, the performance of this unique system enables simultaneously visualization & detection of all intrusions over 360°.
Development of infrared hemispheric camera
HGH have been awarded the "SafeAround" R&D project financed by the French State. The objective is to come up with an original system for perimeter surveillance of sensitive areas. With designated partners, HGH is to develop and manufacture a high resolution camera for visible and infrared, with a hemispheric field of view.
This new sensor will enlarge the current HGH range of VIGISCAN infrared panoramic surveillance cameras.
New pyrometric camera
HGH have designed a new pyrometric camera, PYROSCAN28, for visualisation of combustion zones and for measurement of several temperature points in real time within the video image. This new compact sensor can monitor the burning zone of kilns and boilers.
New passive system for panoramic infrared surveillance
HGH Systemes Infrarouges have developped a new panoramic infrared vision system, VIGISCAN. This infrared sensor has been designed for surveillance of security perimeters. VIGISCAN includes a sensor head rotating continuously at 1 round/sec for 360° azimuth coverage. The ultra wide panoramic field of view (360°H) and continuous monitoring ensure that no event is missed in extremely large areas in total darkness or fog.
A dedicated software enables to display in real time a high quality panoramic image, to zoom selected zones and to give automatically alarms on intrusion or anomalies.
New infrared source with high precision
HGH Systemes Infrarouges, experts in industrial and security optronics, have upgraded their range of differential and absolute blackbodies type DCN 1000N. The new electronic controller enables to regulate the temperature with a resolution of 0.001°C via a touch screen panel. A remote control interface is also available via USB link. Moreover, the absolute temperature ranges from -20°C to +200°C and the emitting area dimensions from 50 mm x 50 mm to 300 mm x 300 mm.
This type of differential blackbody is used for characterization of infrared systems and can be provided with NETD, FTM and MRTD targets, target wheel or infrared collimator.
